Our Monthly 50/50 Draw

Our Scouts are passionate about finding ways to raise the funds needed to Save our Scout Hall, and one of them came up with idea of having a monthly 50/50 draw as part of his Fundraising Badge.

The idea is simple, you buy a ticket for each monthly draw, and half of what we raise goes to saving the hall, and half goes into the prize fund.  The more people who buy tickets, the larger the prize will be each month.

We will be selling tickets at the various events we hold throughout the year, or you can sign up for the year and pay £12 by Direct Debit to make sure that you never miss a month.

This is a great way to raise funds towards the purchase of the Scout Hall, and give yourself the opportunity to win a cash prize, so please support us.

The draw is open to anyone who buys a ticket, so buy one for you, one for your partner, one for Grandparents, or one for your neighbour.  By buying a ticket, you not only support our campaign to Save the Hall and keep the Scouting Groups in Darley Abbey, you also have a chance of winning a cash prize!

Next Month’s Draw

The prize for October 2019 is £19.50 and will go up as we sell more tickets.

Field Day 2019 by our roving Scout Reporter Alex

8th August 2019 By suetyrer

Persistent rain meant that the field day had to be in the hall instead of on Deans Field as planned. Everyone pulled together getting everything ready for the 11 am opening time. The tea and coffee were moved to the John Bentley room along with the Tommy Silhouette. The Blood bike arrived and the local […]
